Forensic Accountant (Mississauga)

The Role

At H&A Forensics the successful candidate will focus on forensic accounting engagements primarily in the field of accident benefit insurance claims quantification.

Key Responsibilities

 Using an investigative mindset, compile financial data, perform analysis and prepare recommendations as it relates to the loss or damage quantification in insurance claims
 Prepare detailed analyses of accounting records, personal and corporate income tax returns
 Prepare reports, schedules and appendices in a clear and concise manner in accordance with generally accepted standards for these type of assignments

Competencies and Education

 University degree
 Accounting designation - CA, CMA or CGA is preferred
 1 to 3 years of professional services firm experience is preferred
 Knowledge of the Insurance Act (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule), insurance policy wordings and Income Tax Act would be an asset
 Strong client orientation
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Team player
 Analytical thinker
