Mr. Burt-Gerrans obtained his Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Guelph in 1984. During and after university, Harold held senior application development team leader positions at Dominion Cellulose/Facelle followed by Electronic Data Systems (E.D.S.) of Canada. He spent the 18 years prior to joining H&A as the Corporate Information Technology Manager for BCL Entertainment Corp., Adcom Videoconferencing Inc. and Commonwealth Legal Inc.
After leaving EDS, Mr. Burt-Gerrans spent 10 years working part-time for EDS under contract to design and develop "off-the-shelf" industry leading EDI software. The list of companies using his applications includes General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Canadian Tire, Anheuser-Busch, Bell Canada and the governments of Quebec and China.
Mr. Burt-Gerrans has over 18 months of recent experience in the Electronic Discovery field managing the e-discovery data processing for large, complex projects for many of Canada's major law firms including McCarthy Tétrault LLP, Tory's LLP, Lerners LLP, Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP, Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, Ogilvy Renault LLP and Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. Presently, Mr. Burt-Gerrans' position is that of Sr. Manager of E-Litigation Services for H&A Computer Forensics Inc.
